Catch up & A Freebie

To my blog readers, I am soooooooo sorry I have been MIA....

First up, my mom's health is not good. This school year started great in that area, but in the last 3 weeks once a week doctor visits. Now next week, they are putting in the hospital for treatment. Sigh,
she is 64 years old with a body of poor 84 year old. So in planning my sub plans for these I wanted to share what I done. I put my schedule into Google calendar, it is synced with my phone etc. So when I wanted to do the fasted sub plans I just did the below

As you can see I have a folder now that the powers that be have a link to, so if they need my plans they have them. Very generic as I can't leave some of my work For Title I for a sub to do.

My Third Graders, had so much fun looking up the facts! One student was reading about Abraham Lincoln, and asked if he could read more about the funeral train. That spiraled into a web search and the whole class wanting to read more. They were surprised to find out that it had stopped about 20 minutes away from here. Got to love the days like these that get the kids interested ! 

Here is the freebie....when I made the 9/11 badges, one of my coworkers asked that I make them for Veteran's Day....

Summer Projects 1

I am going to share over the summer some of the projects (for a lack of a better word) I am doing this summer. Some I will just share, others like today's post, I might need some input......

A little background, I love to craft, scrapbook, etc. I have SEVERAL gmail accounts. (we won't go there at this time LOL) one is for this blog, and another is for my craft blog. Lately I have been focused on all things school, even my crafts have been geared towards that. My craft blog never gets updated, and in turn I never read my google reader posts related to all things crafty. So this morning, I exported my subscriptions from it, and imported them into this one. (Under subscriptions, there is the import/export feature in case you need it, always a good thing to back up your subscriptions btw)

Anywho........Here is what I am left with .......

Lord have mercy, do I follow alot of blogs! I also found that some of the blogs under the Blogs I'm following folder aren't in my folders.....Oy....Now the question, how do you organize your reader? I want to keep up with mine both school and crafty, and sometimes they interact .....I might find something crafty to use in school, and vice versa ......So PLEASE share some tips.....I am off to catch up, if you don't hear from me for a few days, I'm stuck in google reader .....LOL.....Thanks in advance (TIA) !

Happy Easter and what I am doing

I want to first wish all my followers a Happy Easter. Personally I have been truly blessed this past year, in seeing 3 miracles happen, and my mom been given another chance! So enjoy your time today with your family and friends!

I have been MIA as my new laptop arrived (woohoo) but I had to start from scratch. Each time I think I have things ready to go, I find I need to add another program or file. We have a four day weekend for Easter, but my list of school and home projects is mighty long. I am in awe of all that you do and balance! I will be back to share with a project I created with help from another blog soon! Again Happy Easter!
