Blog planning

I have the best of intentions of posting. But then life gets in the way. Since school has been out on May 25th, I have been with the help of my 11 year old and 14 year old nieces been purging/organizing the house. I have much much more to do, but one of the places I wanted to add organization to is blog planning. So I went in search of printable blog planners (free as let me tell you I have spent $$ on things already) here are some of the ones I found.

TPT Leap Year Sale

And I blame it all on Reagan and Farley for enabling me with their awesome awesome Linky Party ! 26 items later, 5 billion new freebies (new to me) and my wishlist grew (it was hard to stop buying)! Have to say girls A BIG THANK YOU!!!!, for doing it for the buyers like me! I found some new blogs to stalk read, new items I didn't know existed! So thanks gals, it did help that I did my taxes and the return was deposited in my account Monday! Now off to buy printer ink, as I am off the rest of the week :-( due to my mom being in the hospital.(I am SO not liking being the "responsible, reliable" daughter in the family) Some of these items will come VERY handy for my sub!

Dr. Seuss Week Day 3

Yesterday, my mom went into the hospital. So I am missing one of my favorite weeks, but wanted to share this ....

During Dr. Seuss week during their computer lab time, we let the students go to Seussville.com . It has changed so many times over the years, that I can't teach the students the layout, as it changes year to year. Last year after much frustration with the changes, a student searched for alternatives. We came across this site. It has some of the much loved old seussville games. Now here is what is on the link for the kids.

 Random house revised seussville.com, and has limited games that are available. This is some of the well loved games of the old seussville.com ...games will open in new window...students must return to this page not click on return to playground on seussville. If students click on return to playground they go to the new seussville.

I have not gotten to do much than check it out a bit. The kids LOVED it. There is also links for teachers resources also. Just wanted to share, I will be back ?????

Lettering Delights Teacher Subscription

I am going to be honest I bought this back in September, I had grand plans, then school and life in general got in the way. I used it but not to its full capacity. In fact, I wasn't sure how to download the free items. When I needed a file I just added my cart as I always do! I noticed it was making me pay for them, so finally I emailed them to ask how to access my files free. You need to a) be logged in to your account b) the item you want make sure it says subscribed (I used Holiday Frosting Alphabet below for my example) c) click on the try me now d) scroll down to type text

2. Type your text here, 3. you can  open your item in a new window or 4) save it as a png on your computer

5. You could click on the Print Now tab at the bottom and it will open it as a pdf in a new window

6. You can download the entire set . The one on the left uses LD's software (avail on their site)

I download the one on the right as I have PSE at home and school!

woohoo that means if I ever make something I can share here! Now, I have been trying to get things organized at work and home. If I am working on something and want to use Lettering Delights, I scan through page by page! Tonight I was working on something and saw the printable version. LIGHT BULB!  I hit printable list and then clicked on my web2pdf bookmarklet(which can be found here) and
darn if I am not on my way to getting organized. I love love the ability to save to google docs! Here is one for example:

Ebooks, Pinterest ....

Just a heads up ....Ebooks for as little as $1. I love these, I have them in a collection on google docs so I can get them at home or school. I love my flash drives, but remembering what is on what is always an issue ;) Sale ends July 31st.
