Shopping My options

I was reading THIS post from Deedee over at Mrs. Wills Kindergarten. It got me thinking, (scary I know) the closest Walmart and Kmart (big stores in mapdot, IL) are about 1/2 hr away (25 miles). But I keep talking about my closest Target and how I am DESPERATE OBSESSIVE wanting to go to IKEA. But how far are they from me.

OK, Deedee you win, 200 miles is more than I have to go! BUT, no quick trips for me either. SIGH...Now you see why the UPS man claims I was the reason he got his new truck. He has not advised me what he gets this year, considering I have bought TONS of shelving for the basement.....LOL....Now, how close are your Target etc......leave me a comment and let me know.

Dr. Seuss Prints on Mamapedia

Every year we have Dr. Seuss week at school. By the time we are done I have to DeSeuss myself for awhile! So when I saw this deal I had to order before I deseuss on March 2nd! SOS...ISO....

In Search of (ISO) two things, so I am putting out an SOS for my readers. I am looking for these here. I can find them online but no where I can get free shipping, there are only 8 dogs per package, so I am looking at 16 packages (to start with) for labs.


My next ISO, I am trying to find black lab graphics! I want cutesy, lab like, not curly haired dog graphics! I have looked and looked...

Any and all help would be appreciated!

I had a gift certificate I needed to use at Kmart, but with the heat didn't want to go out and use it. I ended up ordering some Rubbermaid containers (rough neck) online and of course I always have to check out the clearance section. Found these for $.99 cents....Got them today and while have yet to  put them through the test of school...Now if the heat would go away... I can get into the garage to use them ;) Just had to share ... Btw if you can't find this deal at your local Kmart, shop at home is giving 6% back ....

Target - Dollar Tree

We are in the midst of a heat warnings (heat index of 115) so this past week, I started sorting out the garage, where my latest buys were, after I sorted them, I realized I never took pictures of any of them to share....

When my sister visits we usually go shopping, while we hit one of the Targets, then after she left I went to the other one (both are 45 mins away in opposite directions) When it was all done I had gone to 2 targets and 2 Dollar Tree's in a week...boy did my wallet feel it....

Everytime I go to Dollar Tree I stock up on these, found ziploc version on Amazon of 100 ordered them! Do not want to go out for more (30 mins to "local" DT)

 This is what I got from 2nd Target (1st not much) of Dr. Seuss, (silly bands and erasers, 2 of the cups) some of the stickers, and 99% of the notepads)

Below this is another crate, in which I have the sentence  and regular sized dry erase boards, in the baggies I separated out the mini dry erase markers and erasers.

I also got the Dr. Seuss "buckets" the letter trays, and the binder buckets

While at Dollar Tree I picked up some laundry baskets (white one store, blue the other) for this project here (the dark blue were Wally world clearance finds same week can you tell I love containers)

See why I think they should have a bus trip tour of IKEA, Target etc....I need that storage underneath the bus just to get all the stuff home! Sorry for Iphone pics, but once I had organized I hated to pull everything out....

I am working feverishly trying to get my garage (hard with entire classroom in it) and basement organized before RTS day (Return to school, acronyms seem to make less harsh) I go back on the 25th for last round of Summer Reading, so hope to take some of it back with me! I will post pics of all this as I put them  in to action!

Binders finding...

Just wanted to share, I am going to start using binders in computer labs in the fall. I really wanted the Office Depot ones Keeping Up with the Kindergartners had shown below

Sale, Outlet, Clearance, Dollar Spot...these are all words that speak to me...

I live 1/2 hour away from Kmart & Walmart, and Dollar Tree. Then 45 to a hour away from Target and anything major...So online shopping is the way to go for me.  (The UPS man tells everyone I am the reason he got a newer truck, so of course this summer between home and school stuff I am aiming to earn him a brand new one!)

Target Anonymous

As you know there has been ALOT of enabling going on via the teacher's blogs. You got the Office Depot binders/12 pack, and then shall we start listing the things I want (need) from Target $ spot.......Both of these stores are in the same town, 45 minutes away from me. Normally, that would be no problem, we are off for the summer....NO, I have company coming Friday and staying for a week. Problem being, well you see I have been blog following instead of getting ready....Well tonight on Facebook a friend ask for links so if she goes she will look. I came across the funniest post on a blog.....The name of the blog is Kindergarten teacher tales...(it seems her follow link is wonky like the rest of blogger) But go check out it out here! I am adding her to my list of blogs, or should I she is an enabler....LOL

PS...Megan when is our first meeting, and um lets change the name to Teacher Shoppers Anonymous, I mean that way we cover all of our addictions :)
