IPHONE/IPAD and Dr. Seuss
Every year we celebrate Dr. Seuss week. This year I had just gotten my iphone and had found two apps that the kids loved.
The first was the Dr. Seuss Camera - The Cat in The Hat Edition - Oceanhouse Media. What this does is via your iphone camera you take a picture of someone and it turns them into a character from The Cat in the Hat.
Another one I liked was Dr. Seuss Senders - Oceanhouse Media
Here are all the other apps, including the books, which the students thought were fun to "read" on the ipad!
Dr. Seuss - iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Android Apps - Oceanhouse Media
Some other author favorites:
The Berenstain Bears - iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Android Apps - Oceanhouse Media
Little Critter - iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Android Apps - Oceanhouse Media
If you are on facebook I encourage you to "like" Oceanhouse Media here as my coworkers and I won
free "apps" of Dr. Seuss Books during Dr. Seuss Week Drawings. If I am not mistaken the IPAD 2 has a camera so the camera apps would work on it, but they won't work on the original IPAD's that we have. As much fun as the kids and I had with them, it was fine with me to use my personal cell phone!

My very first picture as a test was of puppers, the rest are of students. To give you an idea here is a video
These were as they call them "100 cards with fun Seussian sayings" that you could email or save to your photo library and print (I used them in a slide show but added the copyright)
